We just took delivery of our 2021 Sonic SN220VBH 01/26/21. The walkthrough we received was outstanding. I missed a couple things to do with TV and entertainment center.
The TV audio is apparently not connected to the entertainment center as TV audio does not work on the entertainment center.
There is a bundled cable hanging out of the ceiling in back of the TV with a HDMI plug on the end. It is not connected to anything I can determine. What is it for?
Drilled a hole in the shelf below the TV to connect cables that were not installed. Cable sets to allow the DVD to be connected to the TV and a cable set to allow the TV sound to play through the entertainment center.
Took a long trip to visit family in Issaquah, WA. On the way, the truck (2018 F150 Crewcab King Ranch) lost air conditioning. Evergreen Ford in Issaquah agreed to attempt to fix the air but were unable to. Truck is now at David McDavid Ford in Fort Worth. They just announced the air is now working after replacing the Evaporator and the compressor. Thankfully it is on warranty. Determined the kitchen sink was leaking so we were unable to use the sink on he trip. We caught dishwater and dumped it down the bathroom sink. In doing so, we discovered the bathroom sink is not sealed to the bathroom cabinet top. Venture, like a lot of other manufacturers have plumbing problems. The entertainment center also failed.
On our trip, we parked near a couple with a brand new Mercedes Mini Motor home. Their manual said the awning would automatically retract if the wind was too high. A wind gust came along and ripped the entire awning off the motor home. Another couple was observed fighting with a front landing gear collapse on a fifth wheel.
After full-timing for 5 years previously with a 36-foot fifth wheel and 1-ton dually, we understand RV challenges.
