When connect to City water it fills the freshwater tank causing it to overflow? It should not. There should be a check valve at the pump to prevent that.

According to the dealer there’s a diaphragm in the water pump causes it to fill the tank.

According to the dealer there’s a diaphragm in the water pump causes it to fill the tank. Ask the dealer what stops the tank fill when the tank is full. Nothing does. Water pump runs and pressurizes the system. Pump cuts off and maintains pressure. Same check valve in or at the pump, that maintains pressure, prevents back flow from city water. Edit: Is the dealer saying the a diaphragm is bad, allowing the tank to fill. I would agree with that.

Ditto on the previous posts. It definitely shouldn't overflow. Sounds like a faulty supplier problem to Venture. Hopefully it didn't cause any lasting problem.
