Just pulled the trailer out of the barn and set it up outside level. As I was de-winterizing the trailer, the CO2 alarm went off. Only the CO2 LED was GREEN and the LP LED was SOLID red...I hadn't turned the propane on...so is that my problem. No propane on?
I only turned the pump on. Not the heater or the water heater or the refrigerator. Just curious. I reset it a few times, Finally I just ignored it and it quite.
Anybody have the panel mounted on a wall section about 2" off the floor.
It said to go outside and call 911. I went out, grabbed my drink yelled 911..but after 10 mins nothing happened.

Seems like it is either the battery dying as Wrkr said or just defective. Not sure if pulling the battery and repowering it will reset it. I'm going to look at ours tomorrow and see what it looks like too, and do some googling on it.

The alarm went off last night after dark. A neighbor knocked on my door to let me know. (10pm)
So I went out and opened the bathroom vent. With the camper door open the alarm stopped
Today I went out to work on the propane tanks and holder. (So the alarm was going off and neither tank was connected to the regulator/distributor.??)
I used a wire brush to remove all the peeling pain, rust and crud and repainted it with Rust Reformer (Rustoleum) After that I added to 90deg elbows to the regulator to keep the hose connectors from binding. (In electrical we never run any wires at a severe 90deg so I assumed hoses shouldn't either) after that I reconnected both tanks and left the regulator in the up position (Neither tank selected)
My only thought for this problem was that I was de-winterizing the hot water heater and pipes, so maybe there was some gas left in the lines. (This was a very wild guess!) I checked the fridge and it ran on electric, but since the gas wasn't connected, I can't see any reason for gas to be inside the camper.
I googled MTI and found the model for my camper. (See attached user guide) Interesting that is says to replace it every few years...well its been 5 so far, so if it happens again, I will just buy another one and replace thie old one. (I may send it back to MTI and ask them to test it. (Or ask the gas guy to use his meter to check my tanks and the area near the sensor.
