Hi all. We just purchased a Stratus 281vbh and can hardly wait to take possession. I see stickers in the unit talking about wifi ready. Can someone tell me what I need to purchase to make this happen?

The "Owners Manual" didn't help. Looks like it should be included in the Technology section. It's not in the website Owner's Maintenance Tips, either. Venture should add it to both places.

If it says its WiFi Prepped then the wiring for adding WiFi is already run in the ceiling. Check to see what TV antenna you have. If it is a WiFi one then you just need an extender. If it is just a TV one then you will need a antenna and extender. We purchased the King KS1000 bundle. You would need to attach the WiFi antenna to the roof and run the cable to the TV antenna base on the roof. In the bottom of the TV antenna is a knockout to attach the cables together. Then in your TT find the outlet box that says WiFi Prepped. Take off the cover and you should find the cable. The kit comes with new plates (attach cable to plate), mounting brackets (roof and ladder mounting). It will run you $230 at King and $200 at Amazon.
