I have a new SN211VRB. Very happy with the camper but the stereo (iRV62) sounds like tin cans, horrible sound. Anyone else have this stereo with a similar problem? I connected better speakers to it and it didn't help too much. Seems like the stereo is just really bad. I think I will need to get a better quality stereo. Thanks

I turned the radio on after the winter and it sounded poorly and the LED was not working. Customer service at KZ was helpful and sent a procedure from the radio mftr. Basicaly remove radio from wall, unplug power for 30 seconds and reconnect. This solved both issues. My daughters Jayco had the same issue and this fixed hers too.

I'll have to look but how do you remove the radio from the wall?

I found that the iRV radio isn't that bad - it's the totally crap speakers they install that are the real issue. I installed a Vizio soundbar with wireless subwoofer and two satellite speakers. Connected it to the TV via an optical cable. Looking at the iRV radio, I pulled it out and found that it has RCA low-level signal outputs on the rear. I connected them to the soundbar via a cable Vizio included and the radio actually sounds great. It is on sale at Costco right now for $179 but, to be honest, even at full price it is a bargain. www.costco.com/vizio-v51-h6-36%22-5.1-channel-home-theater-soundbar-system.product.100669728.htmlThe subwoofer fits behind the recliners and connects wirelessly to the soundbar. Plug it in and it connects without issue. The two satellite speakers plug into the subwoofer. Couldn't be easier to install and set up. Sounds amazing for TV and audio duties. For people who do not want to install the satellite speakers, they offer the soundbar and subwoofer combo only for $20 less. The radio is mounted with the same ubiquitous Robertson drive screws used everywhere in the RV. The end plates of the radio hiding the screws are held in place by magnets. Just pull on them from the side outward and they pop right off. Here's some pictures of the soundbar under the TV, the subwoofer behind the recliners and the satellites installed on the wall on either side of the recliners. Sorry the pictures are rotated - they aren't that way on my PC. Primitive BB software in use here... Attachments:

Thank you for posting. We just got a Bose from Costco and was going to try install this weekend. I had to get a RCA to Optical Adapter for the TV which should arrive today. Hmm maybe I'll look at the Vizio too.

The wife and I played music on the Bose, the Vizio, the Sonos and the Samsung soundbars they had on display. I had measured the spaces I have available for install. I went looking for the Polk Audio soundbar Costco has on their web site but it wasn't available in our store. After ruling out units based on size requirements we listened to them all. The Vizio was a clear winner and it actually sounds even better in the RV than it did in the store so it was a real winner for our situation.
