My slide out got stuck this weekend, still trying to fix it. The issue is only one motor is activating. I did some minor checks but had to abandon's camp and return home. Next steps are get it to a dealer for warranty service. Here is what I should have done prior to departing... 1 - Know which slide out product is in your trailer- Over the years I'm would assume a manufacture would use different brands of slide out.
- Though the current Sonic webpage show NXG Slides, mine came with a 4 Track Lippert.
- My Sonic was built 11/2020
- Knowing this prior to is having an issue would have been helpful
2 - Print out the product documentation- An RV might come with a general documentation pack, I found this documentation to be written very vague and non-specific to my product
- I went to the Lippert site and downloaded all their guides and troubleshooting information. Lippert In-Wall Documents
- TIP: Go to the FAQ section as there are additional links to trouble shooting guides
I'll try to post up more as things progress.

Today I finally got my trailer back. This trailer was brand new, bought in 04/2021, and broke down 2 months later in 06/2021. Even though my slide out seemed okay and didn't show any signs of a problem the slide out components were damaged from just a few times of use. The dealer repair shop had to remove the entire slide and replace all the Lippert components. It took 2.5 months to complete due to hard to get parts, shipping times, and parts being damaged in shipping. I worked directly with Venture/K-Z to get approval for a local dealership to do the work and they will reimburse me for the costs.

I have a stripped gear in my 231VRL Schwintek slide-out. Parts have arrived at the dealer that is only 300 miles away. I am delivering the trailer to them on a Monday and picking it up the following Friday. The "rear" Schwintek mechanism on my trailer has somewhat serious issues. The top two screws holding the H column in place have nothing to screw into because Venture cut the opening in the outside wall of the trailer too wide. The bottom gear has missing teeth on that side. I hope they fix it right.

Our Schwintek system is not working correctly either. Top and bottom rails are out of sync so the bottom of the slide doesn't seal properly. Sounds like they are going to replace the entire system as opposed to adjusting. Couple dealerships around us won't even touch a Schwintek slide.

Slideout in my SN231VRK also got stuck for third time. If you push in button on control 7 times it over rides the controls and can allow unit to go out. It can break it if push too long is my understanding. Slide is not supported except on small gears. I believe they redesigned for 2024. Slide has large table and refrigerator. Too heavy for design. Screws came out of benches and refrigerator came loose. Slide is very poor design.
