We've had an ST336VRK on order since March and it just came in yesterday. Dealer indicated that, because Sporttrek was having parts issues when it came to the motors for the stabilization jacks so they shipped out trailers with manual jacks. The wiring and switches are installed so we can add the motor aftermarket. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the make/model number for these motors so I can try to source them and install them myself. The dealers has said they will either give me store credit or a discount based on the quoted price of $111.30 per jack. This seems pretty low to me however I'm no expert. I am pretty sure I can install the units myself if I can get the right parts.
What do ya'll think? Those that have these units, does it look like these motors would be hard or extensive work needed to install them? Tell me your thoughts.
Regards,
Dana

I think I've found the motors. If someone can confirm that the BAL 23110B www.amazon.com/BAL-23110B-Power-Pack-Motor/dp/B00C7P12J4. We haven't received the trailer yet and I can't remember if the mounting hardware for the motors was on our trailer. If not then we'll have to get that as well. From what I can tell, there's a kit (https://www.amazon.com/BAL-24210-Power-Pack-Scissors/dp/B002PWJRQE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1466863170&sr=8-3&keywords=bal+motor+kit) that contains everything including the switch, breaker, and mounting brackets but it's twice the price of just the motor. BTW -both the motor pack and the kit include two motors to equip two jacks.

Correction. Just talked to BAL Customer Service and they indicated that the model number for the motors is BAL 231000. There is a coupler that is needed also, model # BAL 20300030. They don't sell direct so you have to go through a dealer or 3rd party. Also, the CS Rep indicated that they were in stock so I'm having my dealer check to see if they can get me a set.

I guess that I don't understand. You ordered it with the motorized stabilizers, why are you having to pay for the motors?

The motors for my trailer were shipped separately from the trailer. Dealer installed them. If you paid for the motors you should get them installed by your dealer, or get a refund of the amount you paid.
