Does anyone know what the little latches are for on the top and bottom of the inside main door window? I'm assuming they're for some sort of window shade but can't find anything online. Regards, Jay

If at the top of the window there's a sticker that reads, "Lippert Shade Ready" you can order a shade on Amazon to insert into the window. The latches are to secure the shade. I ordered one for my Stratus. It's black and blocks out all the light.

There were no stickers on the door. I looked it up and that's exactly what it is. Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to get one on order.

Our 2017 168VRB does not have the proper door window for a shade. As a temporary cover, I cut a piece of black foam board and attached it to the frame with velcro. As a quick hack, it actually looks ok. Think we'll stick with it. If we had the proper window, I would have bought the shade.

The shade is of low quality... mine is already bent after 8 month, and not holding the inserts. Will 'fix' it with some glue or black silicone.

Useful hack a friend taught me. Install the Lippert shade upside down. That way you can pull the shade down partway, letting in a little light without sacrificing privacy.

Also keep in mind then you have a shade it will be installed between the hard door and the screen door, you don't have access to it unless you open the both doors and then release the screen door to the shade screen.
