One of the difficulties we have experienced is service. Make sure you check the dealership's capability to service your RV in a reasonable period of time. Our 2021 Venture Sonic SN220VBHhas probably spent more time awaiting service at United RV of Fort Worth than we have had the opportunity to camp with it. It is currently awaiting service for 2 weeks because the 12V refrigerator failed on our last trip out. The failure is a blown fuse that in not accessible and is not available. It is the subject of a recall to replace the inaccessible fuse with one that can be found to replace. This unit has a solar panel which also stopped working on the last trip. We were told that the refrigerator may be fixed in 2 weeks because it is the subject of a recall. Anything else will take about 7 weeks. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Wow! I can only sympathize. I haven't had any problems with my 2021 Stratus. I will have to pull the plastic panels off that are underneath. When I looked in the hole where one of the slideout supports passes through, I saw loose wires.

Part of the challenge is when under warranty. There is quite a bit of back and forth between the dealer and venture. Venture has to approve what the dealer can work on for warranty. Then once approved the dealer has to put the TT back into their service rotation to see if the approved fix actually works otherwise the process starts over. Then the supply chain issues add to the time. Not defending what is happening but experiencing the long periods too. We actually went and picked our TT to go camping and took the TT back. It's an hour and half drive each way. But the process of approval for warranty could sure be improved.

I have a 231VRL purchased in March from a dealer 444 miles away. End of May, slide-out started having issues (turns out to be stripped gear in the Schwintek system). No local dealer other than Camping World would touch it under warranty, and I am not taking it to Camping World. On June 14th I was able to get an appointment at the same dealership chain I bought it from, nearest location is 300 miles away. So it is an overnight camping trip with the trailer both ways. They looked at it June 14th (I left it with them overnight) and they said they found the stripped gear and would get back to me.
Something like a week later, they said that Venture RV needed some measurements. I asked for them to send me the measurement sheet in email. I got the measurements for them and sent it back. A couple days later they said Venture RV wanted videos of the slide moving in and out. I took the videos and got the files to them. Towards the end of July, dealer said that Venture RV tried to pin the warranty work on Lippert (who makes Schwintek slides now), and Lippert told Venture RV it was a manufacturing problem, so Venture RV finally relented to covering it under warranty, and they were going to order parts.
End of August comes and dealer says they have the parts but they are booked out until last week of September or first of October. So, I leave on October 3, camp overnight on way to dealer 300 miles away. Leave the trailer with the dealer while I visit family further up in Washington State and, hopefully pick up the trailer October 8 and hope that it is fixed properly. Camp the night of October 8 on the way home.
Oh, and my trailer also has one of the Winntec 6020 propane regulators that has been recalled that I hope they can fix while they have the trailer. That's just the way things are these days will all the global problems they are blaming on COVID.
And another oh.....trailer was purchased March 28th and I am still waiting on title/registration/plates from Oregon DMV! I'm running on a paper trip permit that expired in May :-<.

The dealer from which I purchased my Stratus is 375 miles away. I called Camping World and another dealer 45 miles away. They never heard of Venture. When asked why both were listed on Venture's website as authorized repair facilities, Venture told me I had to tell the repair facilities it's a KZ trailer.

When I was looking for dealers, the two Camping World dealers near me said they did not do warranty work for Venture or KZ. Venture RV actually had to call them and tell them that they did! Then Camping World called me back and said, Well, I guess we do do warranty work on your trailer. That was one of the reasons I avoided Camping World. If they don't even know they are a factory authorized warranty center they probably don't know much about doing the work either. The next closest dealer, that is a real Venture/KZ dealer told me they would not do warranty work on a trailer that they did not sell.

Seems like communication problems between K-Z and their dealer network on warranty work, etc. Probably share the blame there. Meanwhile as customers we are left unhappy. That being said I still feel that dealers are the weaker link when it comes to a happy customer and mutual satisfaction after the sale. I'm not letting Venture off the hook though. They still need to make sure that when the rig leaves the factory it is a quality build and correct. Unfortunately just like the majority of manufacturers, they suffer from shortcuts on fastening the structural and interior components that plague all RV's these days, along with all the vendor equipment installed that has it's own set of problems. The old adage "They don't make them as good as they used to" looks like it applies.
