So has anyone done a Lithium Battey upgrade? If so, what did you use and, did you need to make any change in the inverter- charger area? Considering it when we can get enough $ saved up. Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. Yes is process of doing Lithium and Solar this month. Expensive. We ended up going with a Battle Born 270ah GC3 (lucky to get it on a black friday sale for under $2K - it's like we're getting at least 6-7X the capacity of our old lead acid battery) and going with Victron products. The existing charger/converter is not lithium switchable so you will need to swap it out to get full use of the lithium battery. I can let you know more how this goes as we're trying to put most of the equipment in our front storage area of the 272VRK. Need to protect the lithium battery from the cold and deter theft. We're also putting 4-215Watt panels on the roof. The combination battery bms and victron inverter will also let us charge the lithium battery in less than 2 hours with our HF Predator 3500 generator.

Thanks in advance. Save yourself a lot of $$ and buy your LiFePO4 battery from Ampere Time. Excellent BMS, great capacities available to choose from, you can parallel up to four of them for additional run time. 5 year warranty too. The factory installed charger will not properly charge a LiFePO4 battery. LiFePO4 batteries are also temperature sensitive - you don't want to charge one if it is below freezing. This is a diagram of what I am installing right now in my SportTrek. I went the home-brew route and built my own batteries and I went with 24 volts so the wiring is smaller. I ended up with 15,565 watt-hours of capacity.
