We had our VRK272 at home this weekend preparing to take it out for its maiden voyage while we waited for our dealership to get a replacement bin door that was warped. Hooked up water to camper (city connection), had a water pressure regulator on at spigot, turned on water. Wanted to make sure that anode rod in hot water heater didn't leak. Well it didn't leak, not sure if there's a bypass behind the water heater that I need to turn off. Anyway, all the faucets had water come out when we turned them on, nothing leaked from the pipes under sinks or shower. Turned off all faucets, but could faintly still hear water running. Went outside and saw that the underbelly membrane was sagging. Somewhere under the rig some connection is not right, so I did my best to get the water out of the underbelly.
So, back to the dealership today vice camping. What really upsets me is that there is no way the dealership PDIed the water system without finding this. At least the replacement door is in for them to fix.
Maybe we'll get to camp in this thing before the end of this year.

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience with your TT. I know from experience that sometimes dealers drop the ball on PDI'S. Very frustrating. Hopefully you will soon be able to start enjoying your new rig (before the end of the year).

If you were charged for the PDI, it should be refunded.

Quick update, took it back yesterday around 9am, didn't expect anything to happen for a while. 2pm wife's phone rings, and the service manager says its all fixed. They found a line that was crimped and another connection that wasn't connected at all. Which again screams how did someone at the dealership PDI the water system? Hopefully it really is fixed, but once bitten, twice shy. Anyway, they were able to replace the warped storage bin door in the bedroom slideout. But you've got to question Venture when sending the replacement door that they didn't send the decals associated with our model, so that is now ordered and will probably take 3 weeks to get here. I'll put the d##m decals on myself.
Thanks to all that replied. And no, we didn't pay for a PDI.

This is ridiculous. We had HORRIBLE PDI also. Glad it worked out.

We are camping in it now. So far everything is working fine (knock wood). But I don't trust anything anymore.
