Hey guys. I'm looking at buying a 2019 169 vmk. The one major issue I found with it is that the wallpaper around the left side of the door on the inside is delaminated and falling off. The dealership claims that this is due to the camper being stored most of its life and humidity but I'm concerned about water damage. The wall behind it feels completely solid and there's no bad smells or anything like that the camper smells brand new. Didn't really see anything on the roof that would indicate that water was coming in but like I said I'm concerned. This kind of wallpaper peeling common for these campers? Any insight is appreciated!

I think peeling wallpaper is not all that common on our trailers. Could be a number of things, poor adhesive on the paper, extreme high humidity (although unlikely) or water. I'd get a moisture meter and go over the area very carefully and around the door frame. I'd also take a second look at all the caulking around the door, roof line, etc.

Personally, I'd pass on that one and try to find something else. The peeling wallpaper could be the first sign of many problems to come.

If you do get the camper, use a waterproof glue to reattach the wallpaper. It sounds weird, but I use Shoe Goo for a lot of things like that. A couple of dabs on the wall, then use a Formica sample card to spread and then roll the wallpaper back on it, being careful not to crease it.
