Brand new 2022 231RVL, and in the bedroom, the end of the handle for the emergency exit windows when opened, rests lightly in the slot of the window frame. We've only spent one night in it, and that handle comes out in fairly light winds - the wind picks up the window pane & pulls it further open, so the handle pulls thru to the outside of the rig, & the window just hangs open. Yikes! And if the wind increases, the window's banging & the handle's flopping.
Anyone have a nifty way to secure that handle better on the inside of the RV, so it securely props open that window & doesn't come out? Ideally so the handle won't close, & is securely held so it won't slide clear out the window either.
(I thought I'd post an image with this post so y'all would get confirmation of what that handle looks like.... Is this website really so cheesy it doesn't allow images to be uploaded? I only see how to link it an image from another site.)
Any thoughts appreciated! Tom in Strasburg Co

Ours may be different, but our window release is just for an emergency. If a window was meant to open, half of it slides to one side.
Yes, images can be posted.

Put a binder clip on the handle when the windows is opened. It would keep handle from going through slot and very easily removed if there is an emergency.

Mine also has the lever on the bottom, and screens. I like the binder clip idea to keep the lever on the bottom in place.
