Here is the weight certificate from a cat scale weighting the my truck and trailer separately. The truck is fully loaded backseat and bed, the trailer tanks are empty but has 2 batteries, solar, clothes, food, dish and personally items. I thought I would list this so people can see what their SL169 would weigh when loaded. You will see my 2015 Ram 1500, Hemi engine 4X4 4 door Laramie Longhorn weighs 6760lbs loaded with 2 people full tank of gas and cargo bed and back seat full. trailer was 4220lbs mostly loaded. Another tip from the manual says that any cargo weigh includes the weight of any fresh water, not the gray or black but fresh water only. So if you are is only has a 600lb capacity and you have 30 gallons of fresh water which ewes somewhere around 240lbs then you only have 360lbs left for person items, food, tools, dishes, clothes etc. Attachments:

If you run an equalizer hitch, make sure it is installed when you weigh. The weight that is removed off the hitch is transferred to the tow vehicle front axle and the camper axle(s). The equalizer hitch and bars are heavy. It needs to be included in the weight calculation, also.
I usually dump at the house, so I tow with some weight in the black and gray tanks. I usually have 10 to 15 gallons of fresh water in the tank, for water on the road and incase the tow vehicle blows a hose and the cooling system needs to be refilled on the road.
