I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked into my 168VRB awning arms. Way too low.

Us too! We are getting used to them after having a previous Jayco trailer with manual awning and less intrusive arms.

Visiting HARBOR FREIGHT today and I picked up 16ft of WHITE LED rope lights. I split the total length into two pieces and will wire them up this winter. Also, we heard that many people are buying the noodles (foam round sticks) and cutting them to add to the exposed braces. Yes I have a head wound (small one) and I have only owned the darn thing 3 days!

We purchased bright colored noodles. Cut in half and slice down middle. 2 halves best because how bar is shaped. Works excellent.

We have hit our heads numerous times on the awning arms of our 168VRB as well. Our previous trailer had a manual awning so there was no arm at head height. Going to buy a noodle and try it out once winter is over. Attachments:
