We have the Sporttrek ST251 VFK and we are planning a couple winter camping trips at local ski resorts. There is electrical hook-ups but not water or sewer so we will have to fill our freshwater prior to arriving. What are some winter techniques or things we should do to prevent pipes from freezing and to stay warm? Do we need additional heat tape on the plumbing lines (which are hidden in the underbelly insulation)?

I used to plug in a utility light or heat lamp in the storage pass-the compartment. Your black tank or gray water tank may fill up within a week unless you use a public bathroom. I never camped in the snow or mid winter. I did camp at Yellowstone National park when it was below freezing and didn't have a problem.
