I just received this safety recall notice in the mail today. I have not received any prior notices about it. I went out an looked and the microwave is on a dual circuit breaker with the converter. The converter is 15 amp and the microwave is 20 amp. The correct circuit breaker is shown below. I will swap out my own. 15 minutes and a screwdriver is all that is required. I would cost me more in gas and time to take it to Camping World, plus they would probably screw it up anyway. Everyone may want to check theirs.

Just curious what the plate on the microwave says the current draw for it is or what the manual says which size breaker to use.

Just curious what the plate on the microwave says the current draw for it is or what the manual says which size breaker to use. Input is listed as 1350 watts which is 11.25 amps at 120 volts.

Circuit breaker was on my doorstop when I got back from "camping" today. Ten minutes to change it out. It was hot, so I left the panel "hot" and the A/C running. I turned off the two breakers for the microwave and converter. Loosened the two screws holding the 14 awg wires in and carefully removed them, keeping track of which was on top and which was on bottom. The end of the breaker opposite the wire connectors pulls out, off the buss bar. There are tabs that hold the wire connection side in and once you pull the buss bar side out, the breaker slides a little bit towards the buss bar side and the tabs come out of their slots. New breaker goes in the opposite way, tabs on the wire side go in first, then push the opposite side to engage the buss bar. Make sure the replacement breaker is OFF! Put the two wires back in their respective holes and tighten the screws. Turn breakers on.
Unless you are experienced, either turn off the main breaker in the panel first or do it with no shore power connected.

Unless this Square D breaker setup is something unusual, I cut the breaker off, pop it out of the panel with wire attached, swap the wire to the new breaker, make sure the breaker is off, pop the breaker back in, and then cut the breaker back on.

Decided to check mine, and I also have the 20 amp breaker and my trailer is a 2022. Checked the manual and it calls for a 15amp breaker, meaning it also should be changed. No big deal I'll go to Loews today and get one. They are not very expensive and saves me the time and effort to deal with the dealer.
Thanks for the info.

So there's more info to this recall. The problem is that they ran 14 gauge wire to the microwave and it should have been 12 gauge. So if you have 12 gauge wire running to the microwave, there is no need to change the breaker. If it is 14 gauge wire then it needs to be a 15 amp breaker.

So I also heard more today about the recall, concerning my trailer, it is not on a recall......but it may still need to be changed (just not yet established)
It deals with a duel duplex breaker, mine is a single breaker, this really has nothing to do with it, just establishing what my breaker is.
So, if one is truly concerned you must determine the color of exterior Romex sheathing. If sheathing color is yellow, wire is correctly sized and repair is not necessary. If sheathing color is white or green one must remove both wires from 15/20 duplex breaker, then remove breaker from panel and install new 15/15 duplex breaker (or 15 single breaker in my case) reinstall the wires previously removed now each in the 15 amp breaker slot. then re-install distribution panel cover. If anyone has doubts as to the procedure you should take it to a dealer or have an electrician do this for you. This is of course if you decide to do it without warranty.
With this all said, my TT is not on recall - but I did change the single breaker to a 15 from 20 for my own piece ofd mind.
