What's the best way to fasten a picture to a wall? In the past, I've used double sided velcro but the picture always falls down. It's great to have the forum to ask the questions to learn from all.

Try double sided ACRYLIC tape. use clear. This stuff works on smooth surfaces and most RV wallpaper. It is so/so on porous surfaces. It's the best you can have without poking holes. NOTE: Beware that the stronger the adhesive you use and the longer its in place, the more likely it will remove the surface you put it on, if you ever want to remove it.

Providing that the picture is small, we use a small brad nail (I know, it makes a hole) and "tac" from the office supply store. You put some tac under the bottom two corners and press to the wall.

Command makes strips that stick like regular command strips but the other side is like velcro, but even stronger. I have not put any holes in our walls and I have used them for pictures, decor that I want to stay stuck to a shelf, floating shelves, and even to stick down our coffee maker so that it does not move when we travel. The good thing is that you can separate the objects from the wall or countertop temporarily to clean.
