Hello Venture Forum. Thank you for accepting our membership. We are new to the forum but not new to camping. I grew up in a family that camped almost every weekend through the summers, and I have owned several RV's in my life. We recently sold our last RV and we ordered a 2021 Venture Sporttrek Touring STT272VRK. We put our deposit down the first week of January and it is supposed to be delivered by the end of March. (Hopefully) We added the Solar package and the second air conditioner but from everything i have seen and read it comes well optioned already. We are really looking forward to getting back out there.

Welcome from VA. Between this forum and facebook Venture Sonic, Sonic Lite, SportTrek and Stratus RV Owners group you'll find loads of information. Lots of new friends and lots of friends there to sort through any questions. We have a 2021 STT272VRK that we picked up in November and just love it! Enjoy creating great memories each time you go out. We do have a warranty item we're getting checked out this coming week with the 12 volt system... we can run off the power but not the battery so we think it's the converter. When you pick up the camper be sure to run off battery.... put both slides in and out... we found we couldn't and didn't check the 12 volt when we were at the dealer.

Thank you for the heads up, I will definitely check that before leaving the dealership.

Welcome and Congrats on the VRK. Let us all know if it comes with both A/C units. When we got our VFK in October, it only had one, but should have had two. According to Venture, it was due to an A/C shortage. We are still working on getting it.

Maybe this is why the dealer can't give me a definitive build date. I keep asking but all i have been told is it will be mid to late March. Well, we are approaching mid-March and i still don't have any answers. I will report any updates when i hear anything from them.

Just a thought, and hope this helps. If you have the VIN for the rig, you could call, or email the factory directly ad ask for the status on it. We did that when ours was delayed. What we found out on ours, was that it was built and just waiting for transport. At the time there was ,and maybe still is a shortage of transport supply too.

Great idea, I sent the dealer an email this morning and all they responded with is "they talked to their Rep. and that it has not been scheduled yet". I will give them a few days but next time i contact them i will ask if it has been assigned a VIN# so then i can track it myself. I'm starting to touch base with them weekly now because i was told when we put down our deposit it would be mid to late March. Thanks for the idea...

Our STT272VRK 2021 that we picked up end of November came in with one AC. We had the Ohio dealer put in a second AC. Our first time camping in rain I thought I heard a drip at night and no trees above the camper. So while our camper is in for some warranty work we had a leak test done (under $200). The Venture unit was totally sealed. But not the 2nd AC put in. So we had our dealer in VA pull it and reset. The dealer in Ohio told us to just tighten the screws. Well when the AC as pulled all the old caulk remained and sealant tape was bad. So if you have a second AC unit added, ask the dealer for pictures of the location where they take out the vent to show that they did clean out the old caulk.

So dealer offered to provide the unit for the same price but also added the AC unit as a part of the deal. Now I've got to chase them down to pay for what we were charged for a AC unit that bubbled on the leak test.

B&N, Thanks for the info. Hope you get that settled with the dealer for sure after that problem. Our dealer didn't ask us about doing it from their stock, as they weren't receiving the ones on open customer orders. We are trying to assure that Venture will step up and make sure the dealer is provided and installs ours when available, and hopefully no problems like yours. The saga continues....
