My 2016 190VRB never had a TV bracket installed. There is a small note on the wall that says TV MOUNT HERE!....
Nothing in the manual about how big is "HERE" and what depth of screw, anchor or whatever on putting in the bracket. Most of the mounts I have seen for similar size trailers have a long/thin bracket that attaches to the wall. Mine is square not rectangle.
Has anyone mounted a bracket already and do you have any tips on what to do, OR NOT TO DO? Is there a reason why some plates are rectangular instead of square?

I don't expect any useful information in the "Owners Manual". Are you listening, Venture? You may be able to use a stud finder to find the edges of the TV mount, if the sticker was put in the right place.

I had a chance to look at the wall for the TV mount. The wall is opposite the shower stall. There was a sticker on the wall that says TV mount. So I pressed in with my fingers and palm, the wall flexed to the point where I stopped pushing. I did not bump into a stud or anything. no matter if I was on the sticker or 8" either side.

Hi, MarJim, There is a plywood backer in the wall. SN 190 VRB-TV BACKER LOCATION.PDF (105.38 KB)The aftermarket bracket will usually detail what type of fastener to use and the weight rating. We would recommend a fully-threaded screw. The wall is 1 ¾” thick, so the screw should be shorter than that.

Thanks, MOD,
I did contact Venture KZ division and got the following drawing ..but not the one with the detail of yours. So here are the other two that I have. Hopefully, someone else can use them if needed.

Hi, MarJim ... the backer is 1/2-inch plywood, and the product engineer recommended "fully-threaded screws". He did not mention needing anchor bolts or wing nuts. The wall is 1 3/4 inches thick, so shorter than that dimension. If there is any question in your mind at all about the attachment of the TV, please run it by your local dealer for advice and attachment guidance.
