So we took the new TT out for the second time and now there is another issue. Starting to get annoyed that the quality inspection on this was not done or not done correctly. When we went to dump the waste holding tanks, the valves were very hard to pull out. Finally got them open and drained and then when we went to close them they wouldn't close and it looks like on one the rod is starting to bend and now it won't fully close so we have leakage out of the main tube. Its almost as if something is blocking it. So another call to the dealer today as we want this fixed asap. We leave for an extended trip in 3 weeks and when I called a week ago to get service they can't get us in until the end of June. At this point if they can't get us in I will take it somewhere else or fix ourselves and they can reimburse us. I get that they are busy but waiting 3-4 weeks for repairs that shouldn't even need to be done on a new unit is unacceptable.
Has anyone had this holding tank valve issue?
Update: I called the dealer and they are getting my TT in next week. I went over all the issues and told them I need it back by June 5th. They said they will have it done for me. I've only had this TT for 5 weeks and have taken it out twice. Hopefully this is the end of the issues that should have been fixed before they put it in the lot for sale. Yes, we can fix ourselves as we are capable but we shouldn't have to. This is our 4th camper in 20+ years so we are used to doing most repairs ourselves.

We have a brand new 333VMI and first trip we discovered the black water waste valve won’t open up at all. In for service now. You would think that this would be a quality check item 😱

There is a dump valve lube. It should be lubed when installed at the manufacturer. Are you listening Venture?

Sorry to hijack but, can someone point me to where the fresh holding tank empty valve is on the STT33VMI. I have crawled around underneath and found every low point drain...but wheres the biggie?
Btw, my dump valves were fine. A little sticky, but nothing crazy.

The valve is right below where you add water to the tank

Yeah...I passed that one over as a low point valve. Its not the traditional waste gate lever type valve I was expecting.

Update: Picked up the TT from the dealer on Saturday with all issues addressed and fixed except the shower head. They had to order the entire hose and head and it will be in 6/1/21. No biggie, easy to swap out. They replaced the gate valves, found a small water leak on the hot water tank and checked the furnace. They say they could not find anything wrong with the furnace. We have the 302VRB and if there is really nothing wrong with the furnace then it is a poor design from Venture. We have very little air flow when we turn it on. Not even enough to move a paper towel over the vent.
But, at least we got all issues fixed before we head out of state. Our dealer cared enough about the sale so they "squeezed" us in to accommodate our timeline. Very much appreciated. On a side note, when we picked it up there was a different electric tongue jack. We asked about that and they said moving it around their yard it hit a pot hole and bent it so they replaced it (as they should) but they put on a much better and stronger one than what it came with!

I realize this is a few years old but the valve configuration is horrible. Could not get the black tank to open on my 2022 302 so I had to tear into it at the campground. Didn’t realize the valve is not only in the middle of the trailer but the gate slides to the opposite side the drain (passenger side) with the bottom being enclosed and the cable running basically across the entire trailer to have enough loop to come back around it’s no wonder it’s gotten bound up somewhere. For now left to crawl under to slide the valve. If it weren’t the black tank I would just run it off a valve on the outlet but I don’t like the black water pushing put to the grey tank valves. Anyone else dealt with this?

My first trip, both black valve handles bent and were useless- I put new cables on and now they work fine- maybe original cables weren't lubed??
