We just purchased a 2021 STT312VBH. The shower screen leaks from the connection point where the screen an the shower come together. I called Venture service and they recommended that I seal the leak with silicone until I can get it into the dealer for service.

I know I am late to the game on this post. What did the dealer say about this? I just purchased the 2022 312VBH and my shower screen came the exact same way. Our first trip out, we had water all over the floor. Upon inspection, nothing was sealed and there was a gap at the bottom where water was coming through. This must be a common theme with the manufacture installing these and and not properly sealing them. I also had to adjust the door, because the top was installed unlevel, which was not allowing the last 6" of the door to retract fully without putting pressure on it. To save myself the trouble of taking the RV in, I contacted Nautilus myself and figured out how to properly seal the door to manufacture spec and adjusted the door to close properly.

I took mine into the dealership and they sealed it and installed a new part. The trailer has been at the dealer for 6 months now doing all the warranty work. I’ll get more info out when the rig comes home.

Doesn't really make sense to only do the outside, but that was their recommendation.

Every rv I ever bought required a little more caulking around the shower pan to keep water run off contained. With different size people in the shower the water bounces off the person. The water is forced onto different areas of the shower water and sometimes causing the water to leak over the shower pan. I also think shower pans have a poor design. Silicone is your friend.

I’ve had two SportTrek trailers with the same shower and both leaked badly. The problem I found was the threshold is weak and will sag. The foam seal just separates and allows water to seep out. To fix it I opened up the access panel and under the pan above the opening I placed a 2x2 across the top and one one each side of the opening vertically supporting the one across the top. Think of it like the 3.14 pie symbol. After making the threshold rigid I had to keep applying silicone all along the bottom outside edge, especially in the corners, until it finally stops leaking. The whole pan is poorly designed. It should to molded with the edges tipped in and not flat. It’s sad they put such cheap showers in their units……

The easy fix for this is not a fix but a work around. I know it is not as sleek looking but it works. Just forget about the sliding shower door and buy a tension shower rod and curtain to go just inside the door. Problem solved.
