Other forums report the need for fans for air circulation and cooling in Sonic units with separate bedrooms. In these units, a bathroom between bedroom and living spaces has two doors reducing airflow. Does anyone have experience with such problems and/or found a good solution? These units have a bedroom fan to draw in outside air from the windows. I'm not sure this works to improve AC flow. Blowing out cold air seems to defeat the purpose. We're considering purchasing a VRK. I've wondered if installing a couple of small fans in the gap above the bedroom door would help. Thanks for any comments.

We used our 231VLR this summer and did find that the air flow was a bit of an issue on extremely hot days. We ran the AC, and also had a small turbo fan running and found that this doid help with the flow of air. I never really did find it stifling hot though, but I guess it depends on where you're at, with humidity and such. The bedroom fan worked great at night to keep air flowing through the room while sleeping, but you're right, it kind of defeats the purpose to run it while using the AC.

We have a 2021 VRK with the bedroom fan. As hot air rises the vent fan will remove it, that said we use a small oscillating fan positioned in the corner near the tv mount ( near the 110 outlet) to just move some more air around. I fabricated a small selve that is held up with velcro for the fan. Works for us!
