Can anyone tell me the weight limit for the 2in accessory hitch will hold, thinking of putting a luggage rack on, thanks for your help

2" squae receiver with a luggage rack is typically rated to 500lbs. That would be for a full frame 2" receiver. Still that would be a big stretch for me. I wouldn't go over 300lbs and thats considering up and down movement. Whatever I put back there is bulky and light...coolers and heavy stuff should be put over the axles if possible. Depending on where you locate it...you also have to consider weight distribution.

Thanks, I think I am going to put a small luggage carrier back there and keep the small toolbox I keep all my sewer hoses and connections in. Should be less than a 150 pounds with carrier and all. I hope the bouncing is not an issue as it will be hard to keep an eye on it.
