We picked up our 333VMI in August of 2021. The dealer walkthrough was brief since the guy did not seem to be very familiar with this product line, but I did have him function test the major systems. Upon returning home, I discovered the following minor electrical issues: one recliner wiring harness was not connected, one wire was not connected behind the LevelMate Pro, and one of the USB ports above the bed did not work. I am fairly knowledgeable about RV electrical troubleshooting and these were simple fixes that avoided a return to the dealer. More troubling than these minor issues was the LR fireplace tripping a breaker while we are camping this weekend. It did not trip one of the dedicated breakers labeled “Fireplace”, instead tripping the GFI breaker. This happened while we were using a kitchen appliance plugged into the island receptacle. After tripping breakers and doing some checking, it is obvious the fireplace is wired to the wrong breaker and the circuit can be overloaded. I suspect the mis-wiring is because there is a GFI receptacle in the outside kitchen directly behind the fireplace and it saved a little time, money and effort to wire the receptacle and fireplace with only one run back to the breaker box. Will confirm when we get home because it’s rainy, cold and I’m supposed to be relaxing. I’m not anxious to tackle the rat’s nest of wiring behind the breaker panel but I don’t trust the dealership. Like many RV dealers, their focus is on sales and not service. On a positive note, the bedroom fireplace is wired correctly to the second Fireplace breaker. Aside from a few other QC issues that required minor repairs, we are very happy with our purchase and love the layout of our camper. We previously owned a Class A diesel pusher. This camper is much more functional for us and repair/maintenance is way easier, mostly stuff we can do ourselves. No regrets!
Update: Finally got around to checking out the fireplace/GFI breaker issue. The outdoor kitchen and TV receptacles (tagged “GFI protected”) were wired to the fireplace breaker and the fireplace was wired to the GFI breaker. After tracing wires and a little searching, I found a couple of connectors behind a piece of wallboard, behind the grill in the outdoor kitchen. I unhooked the connectors and checked them with my meter while switching breakers on & off. I determined that I could just unclip the connectors and swap the ends to correct the problem. I did this and everything checks out OK now. Surprisingly easy correction that I was dreading! I am including a pic of the connectors in case anyone else runs across this issue.
