Good morning. Our new SST312VBH arrived at the dealer last week. It looks really nice. We pick it up at the end of this month. Great to hear you finally got your new coach! You know the drill when you get to the dealer for pickup from all the posts and your experiences, so hopefully everything goes well for you ,so you can get out here and get some adVentures going! BTW our kids are looking to upgrade and the SST312VBH has caught their eye. You will be a great source of first hand knowledge. TIA.

It was just too big and we did not need all the room the front bunkhouse provided because the kids are growing up and enjoy sleeping outside in tents. We picked this brand and model because of the master bedroom. The entire rig checked all of our boxes. The dealer assures us they are going through it with a fine tooth comb. I keep sending them emails with copies of conversations about issues with the Venture rigs.

mbentleyesq, Kudos to you on your due diligence. Being an experienced owner you got it down on the dealer thing for sure. Especially sending them problems found by others. I think dealers either are not informed or just don't have a clue. We were a bit leery of downsizing from our 5er, but we were in the same boat as you. It was too big(some people say what? too big?) for our needs and the Sporttrek hit our checks too. So far we love our Venture. Hopefully you will enjoy yours too when you get out there. Wishing you Happy Trails.

Maybe the Admin can fix my member settings. It says I'm a full and I'm only a part timer, I haven't been able to correct this in my personal info area. Also now it says I'm a newbie and I been on here for a year. Help : (

When they do visit, probably just checking to see if the Forum is still operational. I don't think they read any post. We are on our own here. Your "class" or whatever it is, is based on the number of post that you generate. I'm not a full-timer either.

I have a question to the Forum Administrator regarding the designations given to Forum members - specifically new members. I am sure that many members that are new to owning a Venture RV trailer, myself included, have had years of experience with RV trailer ownership and hardly qualify as "Newbie RV'er". Regarding myself, I have owned various campers and TT's for about 40 years. Somehow, being labeled as a "Newbie RV'er" doesn't seem right; comments that get posted could easily be dismissed by others as coming from someone who is "wet behind the ears". Perhaps the User Profile can includes years of experience and a better designation could be created for experienced individuals who happened to be new to Venture RV ownership.

I'm not a "Full Timer", either. I've seen no forum updates or changes since I joined. I think the Admin types are not associated with Venture RV as employees, but are website maintainers that just visit the website some to make sure it is up and running.

Everyone is better off going to Facebook I guess. For people like me Facebook isn't an option. Too bad they ignore this forum - it could be really good.

I've looked at the Venture FB page. It's mostly ads for selling trailers. A few people post about trips. I saw no one offering help for people with maintenance issues or answering other questions, like we have on the Forum.
