Not sure what model trailer you have. I have a Stratus with a 40" TV and the DVD player in a kitchen cabinet. My trailer has a HDMI cable from the DVD player to the TV. I know because I had to remove the DVD player at 2AM on a camping trip because it kept cycling even when shut off. Venture's supplier sent me a "new" DVD player; however, it wasn't the exact same model as mine (no HDMI cable). I left a DVD in the player, and that cured the problem.
Are you able to see if the HDMI cable is plugged into the back of your CD player and the TV? Is the CD player getting power (is it a 12V model or 110AC model)? There's a milti-pin plug in the back of my DVD player that receives the power, sends the signal to the TV, and the audio signal to my indoor and outdoor speakers. Your milti-pin plug may not be plugged in at all or not pushed in far enough. Is you TV set to the correct input mode? There's a signal booster button behind my TV. If it was turned on, I don't know if it would interfere with the DVD player input signal.
That's all I can think of.

Did you find solution? We are on our first trip with our 343vik and having the issue with the same equipment. Everything plugged in as it should be and set up instructions followed. We have audio from dvd but “no signal” comes up on tv screen.

On a previous rv my audio system did not work. I remove the audio system from the mount and the audio cables were just hanging loose, no attempt to plug them in at the factory. It's sad that the factory don't have basic inspection to make sure that most everything working as design.
