I tried using a mallet to drive the table poles down to make them more sturdy, no luck still a wobbly table. So what can I replace the table with, we never will use it as a bed?

How about a free-standing (portable) table? Other r.v.'s have them stock from the manufacturer.

I just ended up replacing the entire trailer with a new 5th wheel from Grand Design, that fix that table problem.
