I wish the RV industry would keep some primary parts that would prevent you from using your trailer unhand or in inventory. I bought a brand new Sonic Lite and on the way home from the dealer the blank tank fell to the ground and broke the main dumping pipe. The trailer is now been sitting at the local dealer for 3 weeks. I admit that this happened the Friday before Memorial Day weekend and they were closed for 3 days. The warranty work was submitted to factory warranty people in the next week and got approved and then the parts were ordered the same week. That process seemed to happen pretty quick. Now it's been 3 weeks of sitting, at lease the dealer finished some other minor warranty work during that time so when the black tank is delivered it should not take very long to swap out. Here's the real problem that causes a lot of unnecessary wait time. The factory has to order the part from the manufacture and the manufacture. The manufacture ships the part to the RV factory and then they have to process it in and turn around and ship it back out again to the dealer. The dealer with their schedule is already booked up so when the part arrives the dealer has to schedule the work in. Wouldn't it be nice if the Factory had a few of the most common parts on hand, after all they already have the parts to build the trailer but they will not use parts meet for building their trailers. Another suggestion is that the manufacture could have their parts on Amazon and the dealer could just order from there. There is ways to speed up this precess instead of having unhappy customer who bought the camera to hit the road only to see it sitting at the dealer for weeks and months just waiting on parts. I'm done thanks for listening, I feel better now : )
