We were told that switching from our gas/electric fridge would be SO worth it for our new 12v fridge. So we took our 332vbh on a maiden voyage close to home to find out the fridge does NOT work but the freezer does. Our dealership offered to fit it in but had no guarantee of being able to fix the fridge. It’s BRAND NEW! So now we are 6+ hours away from home and using the fridge like an indoor cooler while swapping around freezies to keep things remotely cool. And our milk is in the outdoor mini fridge. After 6 days of doing this I am beyond frustrated. What is the defect on these fridges!?

Is the little wired metal clip connected to the fins in the back of the fridge? Open up the outside vent panels and check for good air flow.

We were told that switching from our gas/electric fridge would be SO worth it for our new 12v fridge. You were told that by a salesman, right?

It’s hard to note my sarcasm in the post. We loved our Jayco but needed a bigger layout and wanted the service this dealership provided. Sporttrek fit the needs but we miss a lot of quality things. The fridge being broken the very first time using left a sour taste in our mouths. Oh yeah…I love how my username calls me a “newbie” but this is our 3rd season and 2nd camper. So we have been through a lot of bumps and bruises…

The ability to post pictures, may be allowed after so many post, which is asinine. I've seen that on some forums. This is all I can find: Looks like you should be able to add a photo. venturefamilyforum.com/help/user-guide/posting/inserting-images

My fridge in my sonic lite 169vrk is a Furrion too but it's the gas/electric one not the 120v/12v Furrion. Those fins only apply to gas. maybe your problem is the fuse inside the fridge. youtu.be/aE7dYOT4Mbk

I had a fridge at home that had a ice cold freezer but the refrigerator part was not cooling. It was the fan that went bad, it wasn't pushing the cold air down into the fridge section.

The industry is trying to move away from the gas/electric fridges due to cost and fire hazard. Adventurely the gas/electric fridge will be more of an option. The 12V refrigerators cost less than the gas/electric, are safer, doesn't need the 2 air vents to outside. Has more storage space than the gas/electric for same size foot print. More RV company's are packaging the 12v fridge with solar on roof to help keep the fridge operating. 12V fridge get colder faster than the gas/electric. RVer's that do a lot of boon docking or dry camping prefer the gas/electric fridge. The rule of the thumb is if you camp 75% of the time with full hook ups then 12V fride is the way to go. If you spend more than 75% of the time boon docking or drying camping then a gas/electric fridge is the way to go. Sorry I can't answer your question about the noisy one you have.

Sorry I haven’t been available to reply. It’s been in for service since fall 2022 waiting for “parts” from kz. We were just informed that our “parts will arrive at KZ 4/14” to which I replied “parts meaning a new fridge” lol. The whole BRAND NEW fridge is junk. So we’re waiting on a brand new fridge. But the layout for our model makes it worth it 🤷♀️
