EMT conduit would work. I use a cheap Walmart round grill cover that covers the power jack and battery. It is held on by 4 Velcro straps. I actuate the jack, through the cover, without taking the cover off.

I might add I just realized that my power jack cover is missing too. I guess it blew off while traveling. It would be best if you have one that you use a bungee cord to hold it tight on the power jack. The cover acted like a parachute and picked up my WDH tool and they both had a soft landing along the hwy somewhere between Slow Low and Queen Creek AZ. : ) Being how you mentioned your cover, did you buy the cover or have it made, or made it yourself? |

I only plan on covering it if it's raining while camped or if it's snowing at home during storage. Just ordered one.
