I don't have an outlet in my slide out booth but there is an outlet on the ceiling just outside the slide. I have a heavy duty brown extension cords that connects to the outlet. I drilled a 1.5" hole into the top part of back side of the booth bench seat. I ran the extension cord thru the bench seat over to the far corner of the outside wall. I have another extension cord with an end that has USB charging ports and several 110v outlets. I drilled another 1.5" hole in the same bench seat next to the outside wall and and connect to the 2 cords together. When traveling I just lay the outlet box on the floor under the dining table booth and push the excess cord into the bench seat. I unplug the extension cord from ceiling and push the excess cord into it's hole. Works out great because when sitting at the booth I have my laptop and both cell phones and usually I got my router or something plug in to work on. I also have a table top fan plugged in too. My other trailer had a power outlet under the booth in a prefect location but because the booth was in the slide it's a little difficult to have power there because the power wiring has to be able to fold under the slide and constant in and out with the slide the support brackets that hold the power wiring kept breaking. So it requires a little maintenance, if your kitchen sink is in a slide you have the same thing with drains and water lines that are flexible and constantly bending into place when slide goes in and out, a good place for a leak.

Agree with B&N, having a plug in next to the table would be VERY convenient.
