In our Sonic, there is a USB port mounted on the wall next to the rear bed that is right at eye level during the night. Is there a way just to eliminate the blue light? It's really bright when you open your eyes during the night.

I never notice a blue light on my USB outlet next to the bed. on a side not I wished they would eliminate that headboard window or make it smaller and move it up so I don't think my wife is strangling me when I wake up inside the blinds : )

A small round of electrical tape to put over the light. Put a pinhole in the tape, if you still want to see the indicator.

I'm on my tenth coat of black paint, using an artist brush. It's starting to fade now! LOL

That plug is about 12" away from my wife's head when she lays down and when it's completely dark, that blue light is incredibly bright. The only thing I found that worked was wrapping it in black electrical tape.

But between where it is and the fact that it's all black-on-black, I just wrapped tape around the base and pressed it down. If we wanted, we could still rotate the cover and use the plug.

Been adding black paint, no....that ain't going to work. I see the blue light right thru the paint. Guess it's time to go with the black vinyl tape.

Hitachi thought they needed a laser for an indicator. Only a tiny corner of the window is visible now. Laser hasn't burned through the tape yet.
