Hello campers. Please share your thought, to jack up or not to? Of course NOT stabilizers but good 2-4 ton jack stands.
Do I really need to lift tires off the ground for upcoming winter storage or nowadays tires are more resistant to flat spots and I don't need to even bother?

I've never jacked the camper up, to unload the tires, for storage. In the spring, I make sure the tires are properly inflated, tow a couple of miles at 40 mph to makes sure the tires warm up and the tires have time to relax and soften before doing interstate speeds.

Some people drive their trailer tires up on boards or bricks just to keep the tires from absorbing moister from the ground.

I am the same, I have never taken all the weight off my trailer tires. At the end of the season I just get the tires up on boards since I keep my camper stored at a facility that just has stone. I lower the stabilizers as always and make the tires have the proper pressure. This year I will cover them just to help keep them out of the elements to prevent any dry rot.

I've never jacked up trailer for storage. I used to park on boards when I stored it on asphalt, but store on gravel now.

Same here, I just leave it on the gravel, no jacks used. It has been suggested by others to never use your jacks on dirt or gravel for storage purposes, as they can sink slightly with weather and put an undo strain on your frame.

I store mine with all the stabilizers (they are not jacks) down as an extra layer of theft protection. Not sure how them sinking could be any worse on the frame than towing across parking lot or bridge transitions, railroad tracks, potholes, campground roads, etc.
