The Sonic's are prewired for a King Wifi router system for your trailer. Just because the sticker on the location for the Wifi router doesn't mean you have to have King Product. The choices for the King router is a King Wifi basic router for around $100 that does not include an antenna for the roof, the router has both transmit and receive antennas on the router itself (ears). The 2nd choice is the King Wifi Swift, same as the previous router but comes with a cable and antenna for roof for better reception it cost about $225. There's a 3rd choice that even more expensive. If your looking for a cheap wifi setup I bought and tested the "WavLink" router I purchased from Amazon for $29. It's simple and is easy to setup. I'm currently in Tucson AZ at an RV Park that only allows 2 wifi device on their wifi network per site. Well we have 5 devices, 2 cell phones, 2 tv's and one laptop. The real advantage of having a router is the rv park only see it as one device and all your device no matter how many you have will all use the same wifi network name of the router so you never have to keep updating the network name at every rv park. The only change you make Sid the name of the rv park's wifi name and you just update your router with that name and you are good to do. Your reception from your router will be better both direction, better than the ting antenna inside your cell phone or laptop, tv, firesticks, Ruko etc. www.amazon.com/dp/B081JG72MB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsAttachments:

I use a USB powered travel router so that I still have my network powered from my batteries when boondocking.
