I know this is a sensitive topic as most people will tell you not to trust the tank sensors. I merely wanted to pass along this information in the event any of you are having the same issues.
I purchased my 312 VBH in February and ever since we have purchased it, I have noticed the grey tank always reads 2/3 full. I tried several different things to resolve the issue and nothing seemed to work. I took my TT in for warranty work and requested the techs look at this issue. Turns out, I have compromised wiring from the manufacture. The 12v wire from the control panel (black wire gray 2) to sensor probe pack (red wire) has a short. What I wrote in parenthesis is specifically what the tech wrote in the work order. Long story short, the tech needs to re-run the wiring under the belly of the TT. My dealer submitted the warranty/labor request to Venture before the work can be done and I am currently waiting on their approval.
