231VRL - We have a 2021 with a Jack knife sofa at the rear of the trailer and would really like to change this to theater seating or recliners, does anyone have any suggestions. I think that there is room for this change and we really don't need the storage or extra sleeping space. Suggestions and ideas are welcome.

I have done this before. As a s matter of fact the 1st camping trip we left on a long trip and order the new Theater seats and they were waiting for us on one of our stops at the RV park. Anyway before you buy a new theater seat to replace your Jack Knife sofa be sure there isn't anything under the sofa that would stop you from doing this. Some sofa's have an enclosure hiding a water pump or a wheel well. Also check the measurement of your door to see if you can get the old Jack Knife sofa out and the new one in. The Theater seats I ordered came in sections making it an easy site thru the door. The seats might need to be screwed/bolted to the floor. Is there an 110v outlet in the area just in case you want to buy an electric recliner theater seating. The place you want to to call is www.recpro.com they have all the different types and size theater seats you are looking for, I believe they are located around the Elkhart Indiana area. When I ordered from them it was delivered like in 3 days or something. They have theater seats that vary in size like 63" 64" 66" and so on. Measure the with of your space and measure your old Jack Knife furniture for a perfect fit. Consider if you want a center pull down seat, do you want 2 cup holders in the middle and one at each end. I prefer the 4 cup holders for my drinks and remotes. Do you want a center console with a compartment for your remotes, does the theater seats have USB chargers on both sides or the center console. Is the theater seat a wall huggers. Some theater seats recline down and the door seat flips out but the head support doesn't go down far enough for you to stretch out. Will your head hit a protruding window frame or curtain. RecPro had excellent customer service and a great chose of products. They will send you a swatch of the fabric so you can actually see if it matches your existing furniture. BTW I sold my old sofa for a couple hundred dollars. We actually replaced old theater seats with new ones, my wife was not able to kick the foot rest back into place when trying to get up, it was a manually recliner with with parachute pull handles between the cushions and arm rest. I had no problem kicking my foot rest back into the closed position, I always had to do my wife's for her. Good Luck.

Earl has some good advice. I also have the 231VRL and one thing I would recommend is you check how much room you have from the wall to the slide-out. There is nothing under the sofa for you to worry about (that's where we store the extra cushion for the table/bed conversion).
