We are interested in a Stratus 281VBH. Curious as to what you are towing with? and what weight distribution system you have. I have heard great things about Hensley. I have a 2020 Chevy Silverado 5.3L V8 with tow package.
Thanks for your input.

First call your chevy dealer service department and give them your VIN# so they can look up and see how much weight you can pull. You want to be about 10-20% under the maximum weight your truck can handle to be safe. Example; if your truck can tow 10,000 pounds then you don't want your trailer to be more than 8000-9000lbs. I have weighed my trailer and truck setup on a Cat Scale several times, empty and fully loaded to see the variables. Never drive over 60-65mph, if it is windy out then keep it under 60mph. I tow with a weight Distribution hitch rated at 6000lbs, my trailer is about 4500lbs fully loaded. The 1st time I loaded my new trailers I always used a laundry basket and weighed every thng going in the trailer on a bathroom scale. Everything from tooth brush, dishes, clothes, electronics, linens, food etc.
