Always remember when connecting a fire pit to your auxiliary propane port that your trailer and propane tanks already have a regulator on them. You must remove your regular on your fire pit to be able to get a higher flame. If you connect your firepit to a dedicated propane tank then you would need a regulator on the fire pit. I always carry both people hoses with me. Another tip is these fire pits really use a large amount of propane so monitor your trailers propane tank daily. You don't want to wake up in the middle of the night without any propane to run your furnace.
