I haven't tried it yet but will the Sonic batteries operate the gas furnace to heat the trailer for a short time? I have solar and dual batteries.

Batteries should be good to run the furnace overnight if you don't keep the thermostat cranked up.

Last information I have is Hydroflame furnaces draw 4.2 amps and Suburban drew 4.6 amps. Do your battery draw calculation to determine how long your battery setup will supply the furnace you have. Remember that lead acid batteries should only be pulled down to 50%. The lower the thermostat setting, to minimize run time, the longer the battery will last.

Remember your draw by the furnace is not singular. It is a combination of all operating 12 volt circuits. The antenna amp, the smoke detector, the stereo, and then the 500 pound gorilla, the fridge. I also have 2 batteries and solar, I am finding without the fridge and furnace a common parasitic draw of around 3 amps, not truely parasitic since I have identified components above but if I do not disable these draws, they accumulate to 3.2A per hour. so that 'small draw' becomes significant over night (about 25 amps). Consider all your components.
