Our first trip was not a success, after traveling to the campground that was only 35 miles from our house and getting the trailer level we tried to open the slide and found that it would not open. It just so happened that a mobile tech was there and after he looked at it, he determined that the slid was off track do to the side wall twisting. So now our new never used camper is at the repair shop for an estimated two months. This sucks! Hope we didn't buy a problem child.

Assume this was all inspected prior to purchase. Push for Venture to extend your warranty for the time it is unusable. The more moving parts a camper has, the more there is to break. A camper is enduring a small earthquake while it is towed. It escalates with potholes, speed bumps, parking lot transitions, interstate bridge transitions, dirt roads, etc. Campers are built with thin and light material that provides little actual structure. Lipstick is thicker than the pig under it.

We were wondering if this happened because we had food and drinks in the fridge?

It should be able to travel with the fridge stocked.

I always watch my slide closely so if I see any sign of a bind I release the button. I notice some times especial after rain the seals around the slide might act like suction cups just like the seal on a refrigerator door. Sometimes my slide is trying to pull away from a stuck seal on one side and I just stop from going out until the seal releases and then contune. There was a couple times I thought the slide was going to bind on me

My problem with the slide is that the bottom comes in and the top isn't then it will drop over and shake the entire trailer.

I have tried all the trouble shooting I can find. My slide is stuck in. It tried to go out like a couple inches then stops. Does anyone know how to get one back in alignment?
