I am a bit confused after reading the owners manual. Manual references V1 and V2 valves and also references a siphon hose. Can anyone tell me on this particular unit where those items are located?
Also, manual references a bypass kit..is that something I should have as well?
First Venture RV product so I ma trying to get used to the differences from my previous brand trailer.
Thanks, PS

I don't see a V1 or V2 mentioned, page 74 (Winterizing your Recreational Vehicle), in the 2023 manual. Assuming they may refer to the 2 valves at the water pump. One should cut off the fresh water supply to the pump, and the other should open the suction hose for anti-freeze to be supplied to the pump. Also assuming, the by-pass kit is for the water heater, which should be at the back of the water heater tank. Most by-passes are 1/4 turn valves, one on the hot and one on the cold, that connect the hot and cold water lines behind the water tank. This keeps anti-freeze from filling the tank, if you use Method #2 in the manual.

My manual says the same thing about the V1 and V2 valves. I have a 302VRB. The two valves are next to the hot water tank. Wherever your HW tank is then go inside and find a removeable panel close to where your HW tank is located. These are the bypass valves to bypass the HW tank when winterizing and de-winterizing. There is also a short hose that is used to siphon antifreeze into your system.

The short hose should be on the supply side of the water pump. Close to the water pump will be valves to cut off the fresh water supply and open the anti-freeze suction line.
