I’m purchasing a 2022 Sonic Lite 169VUD that is wired for a back-up camera. It seems like the brand is Furrion but I’m wondering if any camera will work? Anybody use other camera brands?

I believe the housing that is mounted for the Furrion camera is the only one that will fit into the Furrion housing. I'm sure you could remove the house and install something completely different. Another brand may not have the same wire connectors but I guess you could cut those off and crimp new ones on to make the other brand. You can buy some pre-owned Furrion camera pretty cheap on-line.

I installed a Haloview. Had to purchase the additional bracket and wiring adapter to mount it in the Furrion housing.

Was there a big cost savings I know my Furrion I bought for my Sonic Lite last year was about $400. If I was at home I would have just bought a preowned one for less.

The bracket adapter was $10. I want to add two side cameras later, that's why I picked the MC7108 (4 camera capable).

Sounds like a plan.

I've got the 169VRK, and prewired as well. We bought the Amtifo on Amazon, and it has the housing plate and the cable adapter for it. Right now it's on sale for $99. Works great.
