Curious how long my RV refrigerator will last on 2 deep cycle batteries? So much missing information for a decent answer. Type of refrigerator? 12vdc only, 12vdc/propane, or 120vac type. Will you have to run an inverter? What is the current draw when it is running on the selected source? How many different amp ratings are there for deep cycle batteries. We don't know what you have. With better information, you'll get a better answer. |

It's like asking how long a candle will burn. How thick and tall is the candle etc. Depends on the temperature setting of fridge, it it hot or cold outside, what size your batteries are, solar panels etc. Easy way is to just try and it and see how long it last. It could be a couple days on a cloudy day or 2 weeks on a sunny day. There's too many variables.

My refrigerator would probably run for at least a week on my 2 6-volt GC batteries. But my refrigerator is AC/Propane so the batteries would only be supplying power to the control board and propane spark ignitor. |
