Doesn't seem like we have very many folks creating posts yet so.....Lets get this rolling!
We purchased a 231VRL last year for a first camper and love it so far. We have used it more than expected and really have not had to many issues.
Can't wait to start using it again.

I picked up the same unit (left over 2019) last week and will be doing a test run near the house later this week. So far i'm impressed with the quality and features over my Forest River microlite I traded in. Got a great deal on the new one. My local dealer Jack from Holiday RV has been a good person to work with over the years (2nd unit bought from him). Can't wait for more posts, too.

Greetings, Venture family!
I posted in the Sonic Lite section, but my wife and I are taking delivery of a 2021 Sonic Lite SL169VRK next week. Biggest issue atm will be where to park it!
We are not yet retired, but getting close and seemed like a good idea to get one ahead of time and shake things out before we try any major trips. I also want to ensure my 2012 4Runner Limited is up to the task but we've watch a lot of reviews on both the 4Runner and the Sonic Lite to say we're pretty confident it will handle it just fine. May add some rear airbags if the WDH doesn't sufficiently address any rear sag.
We also want to be able to avoid hotels as much as possible in the coming year when we go up to Virginia to visit our daughter or beyond...

Hello, fellow Venture RVers! My husband and I just purchased the Sonic SN220VRB and are anxiously awaiting its arrival sometime after late August. We live in NorCal, but will be picking up our rig in Washington, so our maiden voyage will start as we drive off the lot 😬. We are new to the RV Life, and since our purchase last week I have hardly slept as I’ve been immersed in YouTube videos and Instagram accounts. I’m hoping to see this forum come to life!

I've watched about 10% of the YT videos that my wife has, lol. Some are interesting and useful, most times I'm saying "just get to the point, dude!' Mostly I'm wondering how I can make money off inane YT videos and live life on the road!

Howdy all. I don't know that I've ever gotten in at the ground floor of a forum before. It's sort of neat.
My wife and I just picked up our first RV, a 2020 Venture Stratus SR231VRB. We're in Eugene, OR but we drove up to Vancouver, WA to get it. We'd been shopping for the last couple of months and had our eye on a pretty specific layout. Our sweet spot seemed to be about 25' with a single slide, and no interior separation. It's just going to be us, so a walled in bedroom was just a waste of space. We were super close to pulling the trigger on a Grand Design Imagine XLS model, and while we were waiting for the salesperson to get back to us my wife stumbled over a Venture model on Facebook marketplace. It wasn't right for us, but I'd never heard of the brand so I started digging and found the dealership on the coast where it was. I looked over their other Stratus models and thought they were near perfect. When we looked at the dealer website and saw the SR231VRB we were in love. I found 2 at the RV dealer in WA and I think we put down a deposit that evening. So many people were buying up inventory that we were worried if we didn't jump we'd lose it, so we basically decided to buy it sight unseen.
I've got a Ram 1500, so weight capacities were more of an issue than I'd thought. We've finally mostly packed, so this weekend I'm driving down I5 just a bit to some nearby scales to weigh everything and make sure I'm good.

Yes, we're still building a community and information here... A couple other fb groups seem to get all the traffic which is understandable. Good job heading to the scales, always a good idea to know exactly what is on each axle. The 1500 can be a capable TV depending on year and options. If you don't have a transmission cooler on it, I would highly recommend adding one to keep the transmission fluid temps down and extend the life of your TV transmission.

Hello. I just joined the forum and am very happy to have a place to find out tips and hear stories from other Sonic owners. We purchased our 2019 231VRL last November, and have taken a few trips this year, and are enjoying ourselves a lot. Our shakedown trip consisted of a nearly 2000 km round trip to the northern part of British Columbia, and the Sonic was an awesome home away from home. We are TT newbies, so still learning, but seem to be doing alright so far. The 27 foot unit is what we were looking for and has the dividing doors from one portion to another, which was very important to my wife. We researched a lot of TT's before making our decision and the Sonic 231VRL was lightweight, affordable, and roomy. All the things we were looking for. We did have a couple of issues after purchase, and I'm curious whether anyone else has experienced these. Our pedestal table wouldn't stay secure and was wobbling all over the place, and our fridge door wouldn't lock, so I had o stick pillows between the door and the cabinets when I pulled the slide in to keep it closed. Dealer fixed both items, under warranty in under two weeks, so we were quite pleased with the after sale care. We tow with a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado, and although we were a little concerned about it's ability to handle the trailer, it has been performing brilliantly all summer. A little wiggly in strong winds on the highway, but nothing scary.

Thanks for the approval and add! We are picking up our very first RV on Saturday, 2021 Sonic X. Totally excited to camp on Saturday night and find out all the things we don't know after watching countless hours of You Tube videos on everything from cooking to pooping the right way. Still so many questions and know we will have a ton more after this weekend. Hello to you all!

We have posted on a couple threads here, as we are long time RV'ers. Due to various lifestyle changes , we were ready for a change. We just made a deal on a 2021 Sporttrek Stt333 VFK. We traded in our Montana 5th Wheel on it, our second one. Our local dealer handles both brands. We did a lot of research on rigs that we liked with the requirements of the DW and me. The decision came down to the VFK. Both parties will be ok ,but am sure the dealer will make out better in the long run on this deal. We are excited about going back to a pull trailer, and hope the Sporttrek will be as good to us as our last 2 Montanas. We were proud members of MOC and hope to contribute our experiences and thoughts here at the Venture Family Forum as owners. We are always open to questions , etc. about RVing, which for me goes back to a 1966 Dreamer PU camper. Thanks, Jim and Laurie

Hello everyone! New Sonic SL169VMK, 3rd trailer for us. This one gives us the room we need plus nice size bathroom. Last trailer had a wet bath that just didn't work out after all.. Glad to be here and, and like others had to drive 2.5 hours to closest Sonic dealer. Everything worked on first trip out, which was nice! Have already added a couple things like key chain holder just inside door, skylight covers, (gets very hot here in southwest).
