Hello. all you Venture RV fans. After years of investigating this problem I think I've found the cause. It will sneak up on all you so pay attention. I have one of the first model 220VBH TT's bought new in 2014. About 2016 or 2017 the front passenger compartment rotted out. Thought it was a water heater flush running down to the front and sealed the flange around the heater opening. Next year noticed under belly filling with water after a rainy spell. Thought it was a leaky door, window opening or water getting in along the bottom edge. Sealed up all window and door openings and the edge on bottom all around, along with the top edge coming down from the roof as it had screws missing. Go figure. Thought I had it licked after inspecting the cut under belly openings I had in places. Fast forward to 2022 Fall just before our last trip in Oct. Now the rear drivers compartment is rotted. What I found is the water rolls under the black bottom edge, wicks into the underbelly plastic and runs the length wetting all the insulation and sitting there for the shitty non marine wood to absorb. Repairs made with pressure treated wood and PC Woody Epoxy. Outer 2x2 framing absorbs most of the water. THE OUTER EDGE HOLDS THE OUTER WALLS UP PEOPLE. If you see any buckling of the outer fiberglass you have this problem. Fix is to seal the outer edges over the trim folding tape a good few inches over the under belly material to prevent water rolling under. These trailers are assembled by the Amish that hate the English (you and me) look that up. I am not NEW to these TT's I have over 30,000 miles towing this 220VBH all over the country. I Have more experience than most all of you.

I Believe I have the same problem with my 168VRB. Bathroom floor and flooring is coming up. Very disappointing. I am getting it fixed by a very competent individual who has dealt with many floor replacements. I'm going to do the tape fix.
Do you have any pictures of the fix? That would be very helpful to me. Thank you.
