Hello from Missouri! Not new RVing, but new to Venture. Coming from a Jayco Jayfeather X23B to a 2024 STT343VIK coming in December. Absolutely loved our Jayco, no big problems to speak of. However, a little concerned about QC from the factory after reading posts on the forum, (Hoses/lines not being connected in the enclosed underbelly, toilets not sealed onto waste pipes, slide-out seal problems, etc.). We have our checklist for taking delivery and know what to look for, but still considering hiring an RV inspector before taking delivery.

Welcome to the forum from South Carolina. You get what you inspect, not what you expect.

At one time (in the past) I would have said you can do all the inspecting yourself, but given the problems all the manufactures are having (supposively) with labor it not a bad idea. Not that the inspector is going to know more than you, but it's another set of eyes for those things we might miss.
Welcome to the forum.
