Sadly, after a decade, we had to bid farewell to our beloved Funfinder 189FBS. Our son, who stands at 6'3", could no longer manage the jackknife bed. We purchased and took delivery yesterday of the Sonic 220VBH! Ready to embark on exciting adventures and create cherished memories with this beauty come spring. After a lot of rain today we found two leaks. The mattress for he Murphy bed was wet, it looks like the outside seam where the metal plate seam is. The othere one we are puzzled by. The cable TV box for the Murphy bed area was leaking. There's nothing on the roof in that area that would leak.... ? Has anyone had a leak there?

Welcome to the forum. Is the camper new or used? If new, it's a dealer problem to fix. Anything going through the top is suspect. Water works 24/7 to find a way to compromise a seal. Once breeched, water can travel quite a distance until it finds a place to expose itself. Is the camper level or nose high when it leaks.

Congrats on the purchase and sorry to hear you're having issues with water. Do you have the front window? If so these are a known issue that have cracks and leaks. If under warranty contact the dealer asap if not I'd be crawling all over that thing with some caulk trying to find where the water is coming in from.

I think you all missed something here. If my son stood 6'3", my wife and I would tell him to get his own camper and we'd continue using the one we have. The moment you can't fit on the sofa....YOU'RE OUT!
Just sayin'....
