Hello, I’m hoping someone can give me directions on how to manually move the Schwintek slide out on my Sonic Lite VRK. I’ve found bits and pieces of information but nothing definitive so far. I’ve been unable to find the control box. I understand the motor is under the dinette, but how do I access it? Are the panels around the base removable? If I can get at it do I use a socket to manually move actuate the rack and pinion? Thanks for your help.

geezee, if you have the above floor slide out system this is what you do, and yes, the front panel can be removed to access the turning bolt or if necessary you can do it from the side, if you have some long arms. If you need more help I have some pictures somewhere I think I could find that shows the correct bolt.
Above Floor Slideout All components are located inside of coach, under dinette or sofa. This system operates on an inside ram assembly, on a track, moved by a cog gear. The ram is attached to the floor and sidewall with a moving track that is attached to the slideout. As motor runs, it moves the slide in or out, as you choose. On a large slide with 2 tracks, a cross shaft will connect both tracks, operated by one motor. Access to these components is inside the coach, under slide floor. Manual Override Above Floor Slideout Manual Override (Single or Double Rams) Should 12-volt power fail and there is no 120-volt AC power available, follow the directions listed. Access to the ram is under the floor of slide, sofa or dinette, and is from the front. Lippert Component System has a similar motor, less draw and requires a 5/8” socket, ratchet, and probably an extension shaft.
OPEN SLIDEOUT Hold operation switch until room seals tightly on the exterior of the unit. DO NOT distort or bend the exterior flanges or interior fascia by holding the switch in the “ON” or “OFF” position past full extension/close of slide. CLOSE SLIDEOUT To retract, reverse the procedure and hold button until the room is fully inside with gaskets sealing to the outer wall. It takes about 20 seconds to move the slide in or out. VENTURE RV does NOT require or suggest blocking, supports, jacks, etc., to be used under slide outs during extended or normal use as they may distort correct fit, affecting water tightness.
Now if you have the other slide out, it is more complicated as you will have to find the control box usually in the basement under the slide out and the process starts there. Lippert makes these, if you have access to a near phone, you could call them as well.

Geezee, OK, found some pictures. You have an easier access from the front side if the slide is closed. You can reach it easier and see the nut you have to put a socket on (I use an impact or drill motor, battery operated). Go slow, if you don't have a battery operated device to use, a racket will work too just slower.

Thank you for the info and pics. They really help. Yes, we have the raised dinette. I’m assuming the best access is from the front panel (panel that runs north/south) on the raised dinette. Is the panel held on by clips or screws? If screws how is the panel removed when the slide is closed tight with little access room between the front panel and the bathroom?

Ahhh yes, well, you won't be able to remove it when the slide is closed, instead best way in is from the south side, just reach in and use a racket until you can get the slide away from the bathroom wall and then either keep going with the rachet or remove the panel (screws). You can see the nut as the side panels are much shorter in length. I made a hole in my front panel to make it easier that is only 2" dia. Have not really had to use it yet.

I have a 2015 sporttrek and wanted to put an oulet in the slide. I was told not possible. Is this an option to add an outlet from the slide junction box?
