Has anyone had issues with missing sealant on trim or other exterior areas? Have mine at a dealer to get front window replacement under warranty. They preformed a complementary 12 point inspection. Found many places with no sealant (there words). Waiting on pictures.

Apparently the front windshield has an "L" shape flange that is supposed to have a foam gasket behind it and no 'sealant'. Some technicians are not aware of this method and will think that normal butyl mastic is missing. Time will tell if the foam holds up as well as sealant in general. Apparently ours leaked.
I never detected a leak, however, the adjoining filon delaminated.
